Marek stood outside the entrance of Monteriggioni, putting the Assassin’s blade around his wrist. Why would I need this? He wondered. He looked into the abandoned town with some suspicion before beginning to walk in. The town was definitely abandoned, but it seemed to be touched by humanity rather recently. He walked down the middle of the road, heading towards a staircase that lead to a large home on a hill.

My search has brought me to Tuscany, Italy. Apparently that’s where I am, though my accent seems to be nothing like the citizens here. What was he doing here? I found another note from him. Find the Sanctuary, you’ll need it. I’ve asked around, though no one seems to have heard of it. Some man told me to Monteriggioni, said it might be what I’m looking for. I’ve rented a car and am heading there now. Hopefully it will give me some answers.
